Singareni Collieries is planning to develop stage II of Pegadapalli thermal power plant in Jajpur mandal in Ramagundam in Warrangal district of Telangana. at its existing site with additional unit of 660 MW. The company is undergoing pre-feasibility work. Power Finance Corporation has sanctioned a loan of Rs. 3980 crores for setting up of 2 X 600 MW Coal based Thermal Power Project. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 7573 crores.
