Medha Servo Drives is planning to set up a coaches and propulsion systems manufacturing plant in Kondakal in Hyderabad in Telangana. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 8000 million. The company has been allotted 100 acres of land at Kodangal about 45 km from Hyderabad bordering the Sangareddy and Ranga Reddy districts. The project will be completed in phased manner.
In July 2020, the company has laid the foundation stone for the project.
