Deccan Remedies Ltd is planning to revive a bulk drug unit in Kothur in Zaheerabad Mandal in Medak district of Telangana. The project involves setting up of manufacturing facilities to produce bulk drugs like Guaifenesin (1080 tpa), Methocarbamol (660 tpa), Phenazopyridine HCl (60 tpa), Flucanazole (60 tpa), Mephenesine (24 tpa), Mefenamic Acid (60.0 tpa) etc., The total capacity of the plant will be 2400 tpa and the project will entail an investment of 124 million.
