Telangana to set up 600 EV charging stations

Telangana is planning to set up around 600 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. The state government had already set up 138 charging stations for the benefit of EV users. The move is done to encourage new users into the EV industry and to mitigate environmental pollution.

The government is offering incentives for players opting to manufacture the EVs in the state. Apart from this, the state has brought out an Energy Storage Solutions Policy to support the manufacturing of the batteries and storage solutions required by the EV industry by offering further incentives.
